Project Overview: Rainbow Free School, Bradford

The site is located at the former West Yorkshire Fire Service site, Nelson Street, Bradford, West Yorkshire, BD5 0EZ. The site comprises an area of approximately 8,000m2 and was previously occupied by the redundant West Yorkshire Fire Service station. The site is bound on all sides by industrial developments with Caledonia Street to the north, Gordon Street to the east, Duinen Street to the south, and Nelson Street to the West.

The internal floor area of the new school is approximately 2,550m² and has a capacity for 525 pupils aged 4-11.
