Project Overview: Hope Street, Liverpool

The site occupies the former Josephine Butler House located on the corner of Myrtle Street and Hope Street, Liverpool comprising of 4 No blocks:

Block A - Ground floor retail plus 4 levels of student accommodation.
Block B - Ground floor retail plus 4 levels of student accommodation.
Block C - Ground floor plant/back of house and 8 levels of student accommodation.
Block D - Ground floor retail plus 6 levels of student accommodation.

The student accommodation is a combination of one bedroom studios and clusters comprising 4 to 7 bedrooms with shared kitchen and living rooms.

The floor area of the ground floor is approximately 1,745 m². The floor area of the student accommodation is approximately 9,740 m².

The ground floor comprising the retail units and communal areas is of traditional construction. The first floor and above was constructed from timber frame pods manufactured in the client's factory and assembled on site. All services within each pod were installed by the client with tails provided in the pod risers for connection by the mechanical contractor.
